A Wharton School graduate and CPA turned lawyer, Bret’s career began as a prosecutor, then as a Special Public Defender in Clark County handling high-stakes capital cases.
He’s defended nearly 100 complex federal criminal cases, including high-profile multi-defendant trials that put his courtroom strategy and litigation skill on the national stage
Beyond criminal defense, Bret has led the firm’s cross-disciplinary practice—committing to tax, family, civil, and property law—while serving on the Nevada Board of Regents and chairing the Bar’s Tax Section.
