The Justice Law Center was founded by Bret O. Whipple, a Nevada Native who grew up on the Whipple Ranch in Hiko, Nevada. He is a graduate of the Pahranagut High School in Alamo, Nevada, where he showed early leadership abilities as a Nevada State Officer for the Future Farmers of America. After attending CSN and UNLV here in Las Vegas, Bret Whipple received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania, in addition to being a member of the Ivy League Football Championship Team. After graduating from the Wharton School of Business, Mr. Whipple spent time in Europe, working for a tax attorney in Hanover, Germany
Upon his return to the United States he attended the University of Arizona Law School. During his stay in Arizona he wrote actively for the Arizona Advocate, in addition to being selected to represent his school at the National Jessup Moot Court competition. As well as becoming a Certified Public Accountant, Bret Whipple received his Juris Doctorate in 1995, and was licensed by both Arizona and Nevada State Bars in 1996. In the past 13 years, Mr. Whipple has practiced law here in Las Vegas, trying well over 40 felony Jury Trials, earning acquittals from murder to battery, and reversing a murder conviction on appeal. Bret Whipple has gained a reputation in the legal community for taking on the tough case. He has represented some of the most publicized criminal trials in recent Clark County history. He has practiced in front of the Nevada Supreme Court as well as in Federal Court. As a former prosecutor and a trial specialist in criminal defense, Bret Whipple has earned the needed trial experience and courtroom knowledge to represent you effectively. Apart from criminal defense, Bret Whipple has successfully handled Personal Injury, Civil and Family matters.
It is his experience that sets Bret O. Whipple apart, and allowed him to receive the Trial Specialist Certification by the National Board of Trial Advocacy in 2005. The National Board of Trial Advocacy was created to identify and set apart skilled, capable and experienced trial attorneys. There are currently only a “handful” of attorneys in the State of Nevada that hold this certification.
